NH Schools Closed On Monday

Nashua-schools-closed-Monday-a Police in Nashua, N.H. said that they have received threats regarding city’s high schools. Keeping in mind the violent threats, schools were closed on Monday. Lately, on Sunday, the police kept investigating every possible chance of danger to the city. The Superintendent of Police said students are most probably not turning up to school till Tuesday. It is one of the largest districts of New Hampshire with around 11,500 students. Risking the life of many young children is not something feasible. Schools are closed, and children are assured full safety. As mentioned by the officials, the threat was very violent.

It promised to harm the local children as well as the staffs of the high school. The threat included many schools in the district, and not one. Many important details regarding the risks were clearly stated on the district website. Police remained close to every school in the district. Though the threat was imposed for children, many others had to suffer. The reason being obvious that a child’s safety is the most important for everyone. Many working parents remained at home for the sake of their children. High ranking police officials recommended them not to leave their children as it will help them stay brave.

Both, federal and state agencies worked over the investigation. USA’s second largest district Los Angeles also had to cancel classes on last Friday. Nearly 6,50,000 students stayed at home, as the officials were threatened through an email. A generic email threat was sent to not just one school in New York or elsewhere. Some people thought it to be a usual prank. However, New York City police commissioner denied it of being a student’s prank. Officials were very cautious about the lives of school going children. It was soothing to see their support. However, people should stay strong when such threats are given for innocent children. Terrorism is something that should never stop education. It is very essential for every child. Make your child strong to resist such a situation as it is nothing for such a huge gift, “education”.

Jason Kidd to Undergo Surgery for Hip Injury

Of late, there are many news articles coming under the sports category, which has caught the interests of many sports enthusiasts. The recent news is that Jason Kidd will be out as the coach of Milwaukee Bucks team as he is suffering from a severe injury. The injury has gone bad to such a level that it can be restored only through surgery. This became apparent after the team’s medical staff found the coach undergoing severe pain and seem to be unfit for coaching the team.

It is also said that the player can return to the team by February if the surgery went successfully. The player caught the injury during later part of his career and worsened badly in this season. To be more precise, this chronic injury in right hip has been bothering Jason Kidd for the last three years. Kidd said he had taken all the medicines to overcome the pain and injury. However, he admitted that he can get back to full form only by undergoing surgery.

Kidd’s absence could seriously hurt the team’s performance. This coach has been instrumental in bringing up the performance of the team in the previous seasons. During the interim period, when Kidd was sidelined, the assistant coach Joe Prunty will take up as team coach. It should also be noted that Prunty took the shoes of Kidd when the latter was suspended in the late November.

Injuries are part of parcel of the sportsperson. However, the injuries can severely hamper the sportsperson’s career depending on the severity and recovery. It is not sure whether Kidd will be able to back to team exactly after four months. If the team fared well during the absence of Kidd, then his future sports career will be a big question. Dozens Of Pedestrians Hit In An Accident In Las Vegas

vegasstriphitandrun122015 In an intentional act, a driver lurched into a crowded sidewalk. The driver did it several times on the Las Vegas strip. This act injured more than two dozen people and even killed one person. Officials said out of the surviving people seven are still in a critical condition. The accused driver was taken for several tests and is kept in custody. Though it is probably an intentional event, authorities have not declared it officially yet. It is still a doubt whether it was intentional or an accident. Thanks to the Police Department that they reached on time to the right place. Timely arrival of police cars and ambulances helped save the lives of many people.

When the incident took place, the scene turned really chaotic as people fled. Everyone came in a hassle situation, and they did not know where to go. A witness described as he was running in panic as he saw a car moving towards him. It looked as of the driver did not even wish to stop the car seeing many people in panic. It was a complete heartless incident. Whatever many be the reason, but such acts are never pardonable. People almost scrambled to control the driver, but it did not happen. It was a huge chaos, and that is all one can say to describe.

The entire incident was very disturbing. Men ran behind the car shouting to stop, but the driver did not listen to anyone. Near the Paris intersection, the car came to a stop, and people were punching its windows. Not wasting any time, the driver accelerated the car again mowing more people down. The traffic diverted people towards the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. The strip was shut down at this point. This incident grabbed the attention and anger of almost everyone. What is to happen with the accused is still awaited?
